A Global Celebration
Care Day is the world’s largest international celebration of children and young people with care experience.
Care experience includes children and young people who are or were cared for by family members with the support of social workers; by foster carers; or children and young people from children’s homes and residential units. They deserve to be celebrated, on care day, and every day.
This year we’ll have more young people and organisations than ever involved in CAREDAY21, from all around the world including, Ireland, the UK, Spain, Finland, Croatia, Australia and New Zealand – so wherever you’re from HAPPY CAREDAY!
Careday Webinar Events
This series of Care Day Webinars will have an overarching theme of EQUITY and how greater equity can be achieved within the care system.
About these events
Those with Care Experience, Academics, Professionals and many others will explore and recommend how we, as a society, can ensure better, more equitable outcomes for the children and young people who come through our care system.
These webinars will seek to provide participants with an overview of the unique issues facing care experienced children and young people in terms of LGBTI+, Ethnicity, Education, Disability, Accommodation and Justice.
